Solution: Unable to locate flatbed carriers for the cross-country shipment, Direct Drive logistics instead found vans able to ship these loads and deliver them to a local warehouse/trucking company that had both dock height and flatbed capability. This local trucking company then loaded the materials on a flatbed and delivered them to the customer, located in close proximity to the flatbed provider.
Outcome: Direct Drive Logistics provided a workable solution for the customer, focused on safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness. At no point in the conversation with our customer did Direct Drive employees ever say “we can’t”���� or “we don’t,” but instead focused on creative problem-solving that addressed the customer’s immediate transportation needs.
